She was standing in the road.
Liora was rescued the night of Sept 17, 2026 in the middle of the pouring rain. She could barely walk, and she was standing in the road — just moments away from trying to cross through traffic. Thankfully, destiny brought us to her at exactly the right time.
She is approximately five years old and is in very poor condition. Her body is weak, and her fur is severely matted from spending so much time struggling to survive outdoors. She appears to have gone through TNR when she was very young and was returned to the streets, where years of hardship have taken a painful toll on her.
Liora will need intensive care, patience, and a great deal of love if she is going to survive. We know the road ahead will not be easy, but we are going to fight for her. We will give her everything she needs and do our very best to help her become the healthy, beautiful girl she was always meant to be.
