Finding Pasha is run by volunteers — people who feed community cats before work, drive cats to veterinary appointments, open their spare rooms to cats in recovery, and clean litter boxes without anyone asking them to.
There is no minimum commitment and no experience required. If you care about cats, we can find something for you to do.
Pick whatever fits your life.
Some of these take an hour a week. Some take a spare bedroom. All of them matter, and none of them require prior experience — we’ll show you what to do.
Feed community cats
Join the volunteers who visit community cat colonies every day with food and fresh water. It's the most consistent work we do, and it's the foundation of everything else.
Foster a cat
Give a rescued cat a home environment while they heal, grow, or wait for their family. We cover medical care and supplies — you provide the space and the care.
Transport to vet visits
Getting a cat to a veterinary appointment is one of our biggest logistical bottlenecks. If you have a car and a few spare hours, you can help.
Socialize shy cats
Frightened cats need patient, quiet time with people before they can be adopted. Sitting with a cat, letting them set the pace, does more than you'd expect.
Trap and rescue
Assist with humane trapping of cats in distress, TNVR days, and getting sick or injured cats off the street and into care.
Spread the word
Share our cats on social media, tell people about our organization, or help at events. Awareness gets cats adopted and brings in the volunteers we need.

When Maritza began searching for Pasha, she had no rescue experience at all. Through other rescuers she learned trapping, veterinary care, rehabilitation, spaying and neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and responsible colony management.
