How Luna came to us.
Luna came to us as part of a litter born outdoors to a community cat in a colony Maritza had been feeding. She was the smallest of the group and the slowest to trust people.
She spent her first weeks with us hiding, only coming out at night to eat. Our foster volunteers sat with her quietly every day, never forcing contact, letting her decide when she was ready.
That patience paid off. Luna now seeks out laps, sleeps beside her foster on the couch, and has become a calm, steady presence for the shyer cats in the house.
She is looking for a quiet household where she can continue to bloom at her own pace.
Could you be Luna’s forever family?
Adoption is a lifelong commitment. Our goal is not simply to find a home — we want to find the right home for every cat.
Can’t adopt right now? You can still help.
Sponsoring a cat covers their food, medical care and everything else they need while they wait. Every dollar goes directly to the cats in our care.
