Ositah is still a brand-new arrival, far too young for us to fully know the little personality she will grow into. What makes her story especially tender is that Ositah is being raised from birth by our Finding Pasha staff, as her birth mother is missing in action. She does not know the mother who gave birth to her; instead, from the very beginning, the human hands caring for her have become the only family and source of comfort she has ever known.
As Ositah grows, we will continue to update her story, her personality, her preferences, and the type of home in which she would thrive. For now, what we know is simple and certain: she is loved, she is warm, she is protected, and she is in very good hands.
And one thing is already non-negotiable: whoever is chosen to adopt Ositah must understand that she is not simply a pet. She will become a lifelong member of the family. She must be loved, protected, cared for, and never abandoned, regardless of changes in circumstances. Ositah has already begun her life depending entirely on others for safety and love, and the family entrusted with her future must be prepared to honor that commitment for the rest of her life.

How Ositah came to us.
Ositah — which means “little bear” — came into our lives on September 4th, 2026.
Her story began in the most unexpected and heartbreaking way. She was found all alone inside the cabin of a boat that had been moved from one city and trailered nearly three hours away. As workers were boarding the trailer to begin changing the engines, they suddenly heard a tiny, desperate cry.
There, all alone, was this precious little kitten — three weeks old, eyes barely open, far too young to be away from a mother.
Thankfully, the owner knew just where to turn. He brought Ositah to Finding Pasha, knowing of our deep love and passion for caring for kittens — nurturing them with patience, kindness and plenty of affection so they can grow into happy, confident and wonderfully well-adjusted young adults.
We may never know how Ositah came to be inside that boat, or how long she waited there. We do know this: her little cries were heard, and she was not forgotten.
Today Ositah is safe, loved and surrounded by gentle hands and caring hearts. Her journey has taken an unexpected turn — from a lonely boat cabin to a place where she can finally feel what every little kitten deserves: warmth, security, love, and a family who believes in her.
When she is ready for her forever home, we will let her chosen family know first.
